I Love to Tell the Story

I love to tell the story of unseen things above,
Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love.
I love to tell the story, because I know ’tis true;
It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do.

Refrain
I love to tell the story, ’twill be my theme in glory,
To tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.

I love to tell the story; more wonderful it seems
Than all the golden fancies of all our golden dreams.
I love to tell the story, it did so much for me;
And that is just the reason I tell it now to thee.

I love to tell the story; ’tis pleasant to repeat
What seems, each time I tell it, more wonderfully sweet.
I love to tell the story, for some have never heard
The message of salvation from God’s own holy Word.

I love to tell the story, for those who know it best
Seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest.
And when, in scenes of glory, I sing the new, new song,
’Twill be the old, old story that I have loved so long.

Happy Canada Day!

I'm so very thankful for my country, for freedom, for beauty, so very thankful I was born Canadian! I love my country! Whenever I am away, when I cross the borders of my country on my return it is always such relief as it always is when returning home from a long trip somewhere. Ah, home...sweet home!

The Canadian National Anthem

O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all Thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The true north strong and free.
From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!

O Canada we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada we stand on guard for thee.

Almighty Love, by Thy mysterious power,
In wisdom guide, with faith and freedom dow'r;
Be ours a nation evermore that no oppression blights,

Where justice rules from shore to shore,
From lakes to northern lights;

May Love alone for wrong atone;

Lord of the lands, make Canada Thine own.

Lord of the lands, make Canada Thine own.

Our motto "from sea to sea" is taken from Psalm 72:8 "He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth."
